Current Kitchen Design Trends
Here's a look at the trends we are seeing gaining popularity in the Denver metro, western slope, front range, and nationally.

Let's talk about your project!
1
Modern Farmhouse Décor
Homeowners are returning to the classic neo-Americana look, understated yet graceful décor such as the Modern Farmhouse Décor. By blending rustic touches with contemporary comfort such as Wi-Fi enabled appliances, rich natural quartzite and warm cabinetry such as White Oak, Walnut and Alder you will find a welcoming blend of Nantucket and Silicon Valley. Cabinetry is accentuated by warm LED
lighting, enhanced accessibility options such as roll-out-trays, mixer lifts and optimized storage solutions.
2
French Cottage Décor
For a warmer, vintage feel with all of the modern amenities, consider a French Cottage Décor. While born in the Bordeaux region, this elegant and warm aesthetic welcomes you to curl up next to the hearth with a well-read novel while the croissants are warming in the hearth. Features such as shiplap clad accent walls, ceramic pitchers and vintage-inspired linens lend themselves to a contemporary comfort while still paying homage to their roots.
3
Range Alcove
Reasons why you can’t live without a range alcove. Range Alcove’s are realizing a major resurgence in Colorado kitchens. While a long-time staple in the modern estates in the High Country, grand kitchens in Denver-metro are also reacquainting themselves with this draw dropping feature. As more household kitchens are more closely mimicking Michelin Star commercial kitchens, ranges are increasing in both size and features and along with them the range alcove presents an opportunity to “frame” the prized cooktop. Paired with one or two islands, this statement piece will not only draw aesthetic awe from guests but will allow the chef to enjoy their company while entertaining for a crowd or the most intimate of gatherings.

Choosing the Perfect Countertop
Natural stone still reigns king. While manmade quartz has gained close to 30% market share, natural stone such as granite, marble and quartzite still hold a considerable edge. Unlike quartz, quartzite is quarried from the earth in the same way that marble and granite are. Quartzite has gained popularity in kitchens of all sizes due to its uniqueness (no two stones are alike), durability (resistant to scratching and staining) and its ability to come in a variety of shades and tones unlike quartz.
